Proceedings

The Proceedings of BLS5 will be published in two open-access BioMed Central (BMC) journals: Animal Biotelemetry and Movement Ecology. If you are interested in submitting to one of these journals a manuscript based on your presentation at BLS5, please follow the online procedures.

Submissions for Animal Biotelemetry should focus on the use of biotelemetry to determine the mechanisms physiological, behavioral, and ecological processes.

Submissions for Movement Ecology should focus on the patterns, mechanisms, causes and/or consequences of the movement, of any kind, of the whole organism. 

You can submit your manuscript from the start of the conference (22^nd of September 2014) till the end of December 2014. The manuscript will be evaluated following BMC's standard peer-review process. The open access publication fees of manuscripts submitted during the abovementioned period will be free of charge in both journals.

During submission to both journals, authors will need to include the code SUPPBLS5 to the ‘waivers request box’ to indicate that their article is part of a BLS5 supplement and that their article will be covered with a journal waiver.
